Bomb threat in Makati school a hoax

MANILA, Philippines – A bomb scare jolted the school operations of Makati High School near Rockwell Drive on Wednesday morning, radio reports said.

The threat turned out to be a hoax, it said.

The school resumed its classes after the threat.

Bomb threats have been used to disrupt classes in schools across Metro Manila.

Last February 28, officials of St. Paul College in Pasig received a text message about a bomb threat. Classes were suspended.

A day before that, it was the turn of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila to be bothered with a false bomb threat.

The string of bomb threats started this year at the Ateneo De Manila University in Quezon City last February 12.
