MANILA, Philippines – Police in Zamboanga City have arrested the suspect behind the killing of Judge Renerio Estacio, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said Monday.
Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II said Mohamad Alkhalidz Paradji Amisali was arrested on Sunday afternoon by the operatives of Zamboanga police station 6 and 11 on Sunrise Drive, Zamboanga City.
The suspect was positively identified by three witnesses presented before the police.
On Feb. 28, Estacio was shot dead by an unidentified suspect on Narra Drive, Tugbungan village, Zamboanga City.
