Country will be cloudy on Monday—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines—The country’s main islands Luzon—including Metro Manila, Batanes and Calayan group of islands—Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains on Monday, the state weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the northeast monsoon, which is expected to dissipate by the end of March as summer approaches, continues to prevail over Luzon and Visayas,.

Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon, Visayas and eastern Mindanao, and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, Pagasa said.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.

For the rest of the week, Pagasa said in its weekly outlook that good weather is expected over Luzon and the Visayas except for some isolated lights rains over the eastern section.
