MANILA, Philippines – An explosion rocked a highway in Cotabato City Tuesday but no one was hurt, police said.

Senior Superintendent Roberto Badian, Cotabato City police chief, said that authorities were looking into the roadside bombing that happened 12:15 p.m. in front of the Notre Dame Hospital.

Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in Western Mindanao Director Felicisimo Khu said that no one was killed in the explosion. He said that two improvised explosive devices were planted 20 meters apart beside the road.

Authorities are checking whether there were other IEDs left in the area, said Badian.
