Light rain over Luzon, Visayas due to monsoon–Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Light rain is forecast in Luzon and Visayas due to the northeast monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Thursday.

“The Cagayan Valley region and the province of Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains,” Pagasa said.

Metro Manila, Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Mindanao, meanwhile will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough, Pagasa said.
