Aquino in Leyte for resettlement project for `Yolanda’ survivors

TANAUAN, LEYTE-President Aquino arrived in Barangay Pago, in this town at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of a resettlement project for the victims of Supertyphoon Yolanda in the area.
The President just came from northern Cebu, which he also visited, on board a helicopter.
The resettlement area project, located 2 kilometers from Tanauan town proper, will house 366 families. After the groundbreaking ceremony, President Aquino will motor his way to the town plaza where he will also lead in the groundbreaking of the town plaza and the memorial partk.
From Tanauan, he will fly to Guiuan, Samar, and then proceed to Tacloban City for the groundbreaking of the new Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center in Barangay Cabalawan, Tacloban City.
He was accompanied by several Cabinet members, like Social Welfare and Development Secretary Dinky Soliman and rehabilitation czar Panfilo Lacson.
