One injured in collision in Ayala Tunnel southbound—MMDA

MANILA, Philippines – One person was injured Tuesday when the motorcycle he was driving collided with an AUV along the southbound lane of the Ayala Tunnel in EDSA, an official of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Metrobase said.

Charlie Nosares said the accident happened at 11:23 a.m. and the driver has since received treatment for what he described as minor injuries.

Minutes before the Ayala tunnel mishap, a car and a passenger jeepney also figured in an accident along E. Rodriguez Boulevard in Quezon City at 11:03 a.m. although no one was hurt.

Earlier on Tuesday, two people were hurt in a three-bus collision on the northbound lane of EDSA while a dump truck rammed a pizza parlor in Libis, Quezon City. Nobody was hurt in the 4 a.m. incident involving the dump truck.
