MANILA, Philippines – Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada on Monday called Senator Teofisto Guingona III’s “3-point-shot conclusion” on Ruby Tuason’s testimony as “unfair.”

“I feel so hurt by the parting statements made by the chairman (Guingona0 of the Blue Ribbon committee,” Estrada, who celebrated his 51st birthday Monday, told the Senate.

Estrada challenged Guingona and his colleagues to convene the ethics committee if they feel they “have the goods on me.”

“We’re being tried by publicity here. Never did I ask any help from any of my colleagues here, because I can defend myself,” he said.
