Rains in Mindanao, parts of Visayas, says Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines—Light to moderate rains are forecast over parts of Visayas and Mindanao due to a tail-end of a cold front and a trough of a low pressure area, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.
A tail-end of cold front is affecting Eastern Visayas while a trough of low pressure area is affecting Eastern Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
“Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Caraga and Davao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms,” Pagasa said.
Quezon province and the Bicol Region, meanwhile, will be cloudy with light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
