Police, gang members exchange fire in Pasay
MANILA, Philippines—Alleged members of the Acetylene Gang were caught Tuesday by the police inside a sewer near a bank and a pawnshop in Pasay City.
Radio reports said Philippine National Police Special Weapons and Tactics team responded to the scene where some men went inside a sewer in an attempt to rob either the bank or pawnshop at the corner of Libertad and Colayco streets.
Exchange of fires between the police and gang members was ongoing, said the report.
