Mild quake hits Cagayan
MANILA, Philippines — A 4.6 magnitude earthquake hit Cagayan on Tuesday night but no aftershocks were expected.
The tectonic quake’s epicenter was 31 kilometers southwest of Calayan in Cagayan, a bulletin Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The earthquake, which hit at 8:18 p.m., had a depth of 18 kilometers.

Intensity II was recorded in Calayan and in Pasuquin in Ilocos Norte.
There was no immediate damage reported.
