KENYAN Abraham Missouss ruled the 12-kilometer run of the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (Eruf) 161 Run yesterday at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.
Missouss is now making a name for himself in the running scene of Cebu, replacing fellow Kenyan Simon Losiaboi, who went back to Kenya.
Missouss clocked 41 minutes and 12 seconds to rule the men’s side while Christy Sevilleno-Tutor dominated the distaff side with a time of 58 minutes and 31 seconds.
Jordan Bacong claimed the second spot in the men’s 12k with a time of 42 minutes and 48 seconds while Adonis Singson rounded up the top three with a time of 43 minutes and 40 seconds.
Madelyn Carter lost to Tutor by just a second to finish runner up in the women’s run while Merlita Arias-Dunkin placed third.
In the 6k run, University of Southern Philippines-Foundation’s (USP-F) Joel Delposo topped the male division with a time of 22 minutes and 17 seconds while Krisel Diongson ruled the women’s side in 28 minutes and 38 seconds.
