3 dead, 10 injured in Isabela collision

ISABELA, Philippines—Three people were killed and 10 others were injured on Friday night when two vans collided along the national highway in Ugad village here, police said.

The bodies of Danilo Pasicolan of Reina Mercedes town, Elizabeth Bibat of Santiago City and Tomas Mallazab of Tumauini town were recovered from the accident site, police said.

Pasicolan and Bibat were in a van headed for Cabagan town while Mallazab was in another van headed for this town when their vehicles collided at 7 p.m.

Larry Bacani, driver of Mallazab’s van, was injured and taken to the nearest hospital, along with the passengers in Pasicolan’s vehicle.
