Cop, car shop men trade raps

/ 03:09 AM January 20, 2014

A Caloocan policeman and two brothers swapped charges on Saturday following a misunderstanding over the repair of a car at a machine shop in Quezon City.

PO3 Alejandro Desiderio claimed that Conrado Asco Jr. and his brother Dennis Asco, who manage the Bhubot Asco machine shop on Roosevelt Avenue in Barangay (village) San Antonio, assaulted him, but the siblings alleged that the policeman threatened and even punched one of them.

Both Desiderio and the Asco brothers submitted themselves for investigation to the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit. With both parties refusing to settle their differences, the police said they would bring the matter to court.—Jeannette I. Andrade
