MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 4 earthquake jolted parts of Surigao Del Sur before noon Sunday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake originated 19 kilometers south of Marihatag at 10:55 a.m., Phivolcs said in their latest earthquake bulletin.
The depth of the quake was 10 kilometers, the bulletin read.
Phivolcs said it does not expect damages or aftershocks.
