/ 05:37 AM January 12, 2014

The decomposing body of a man was found hanged inside an abandoned house Friday afternoon in Quezon City.

Still unidentified as of Saturday, the man was about 5’1” tall and wearing a green shirt and denim shorts when discovered by a security guard on Acacia Street, Barangay Mariana.

PO3 Erickson Isidro said residents in the area had complained of foul odor, prompting them to ask the guard to check the compound on Acacia Street.

With a belt noosed around his neck, the man was found hanged from the steel grills of a window and may have been dead for at least a month based on the body’s condition, Isidro said. Julie M. Aurelio
