Sinulog bowl Jan 20

SOME of the best bowling teams in the country will invade Cebu this Jan. 20 for the 15th Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) Sinulog Open at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad, Cebu City.

Elite bowling teams from Lipa, Batangas, Cavite, Manila, Davao and Iloilo are expected to join the tournament, which is backed by the Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC).

Adding spice to the tournament is the expected participation of Philippine Team members.

Last year, the BTA managed to draw in 32 teams, mostly from Manila and Mindanao.

P60,000 will be given away to the champion bowler in the coveted “Masters Event.”

The tournament aims to establish unity and camaraderie among the bowlers and clubs here in the country. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
