JUST days after the 7.2 magnitude earthquake and supertyphoon Yolanda, TMX Philippines Inc. immediately extended help.
The company provided financial aid to its employees and their families who were affected by the calamities. Employees who were not affected also donated food, clothes and money.
All the employees agreed to forego their Christmas party subsidy and instead give it to the victims of the calamity.
The company matched it with an equal amount which resulted to 4,200 food packs repacked by the employees led by TMX Philippines president and general manager Bob Oliver. Each pack contained 1 liter mineral water, 2 kilos rice, 3 canned goods and 4 biscuits.
Hygiene kits were also distributed at the evacuation centers in Lapu-Lapu City.
The company also donated financial assistance to organizations involved in relief efforts, including P2 million to ABS-CBN Foundation on top of the P1 million it extended earlier for the earthquake victims, and a total of P3 million to GMA 7 Kapuso Foundation and TV-5 Smart PLDT.
