Vendor stabbed in drinking bout

A 22-YEAR-OLD street vendor was stabbed by his half-brother in barangay Poblacion, Oslob town, southern Cebu.

Marlito Teves was stabbed in the  abdomen.

Police said Teves were drinking with his half-brothers Christopher Gomera and Vincent Sereñas when they argued about their sale territories where they would peddle their goods.

At the height of the argument, Gomera took a broken beer bottle and stabbed Teves.

Teves was taken to the town’s hospital.

Police said Gomera and Sereñas were arrested then later  released after the parties settled the case  amicably and refused to file complaints./CORRESPONDENT CHRISTINE M. ESTRELLA
