Teenager stabs father
A 39-YEAR-OLD carpenter was stabbed in the back by his son after they argued while drinking in in barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City last Wednesday night.
Eric Tampus was rushed to a hospital in Cebu City with a kitchen knife still embedded in his back.
The suspect, Tampus’ 18-year-old son, Marvin, was arrested after the incident.

Police said father and son had a round of drinks with their neighbors as part of Marvin’s birthday celebration.
Marvin left the group after he and his father argued. He returned a few minutes later and without a word stabbed his father. Neighbors rushed the victim to the hospital./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
