Wife of Raymond Fortun in stable condition after being shot

MANILA, Philippines—The wife of lawyer Raymond Fortun is now in stable condition after being shot in point blank range outside their house, Fortun said in a radio interview.
Carole Fortun was shot on the right cheek by motorcycle-riding assailants after she departed from her car at around 8 p.m. Thursday, said lawyer Fortun.

Fortun, who now ventures into wedding photography, is the older brother of Ampatuan family lawyer Sigfrid.
