‘Watch out for hot meat’

WITH the high demand for meat during Christmas, be careful about the sanitation quality of meat you buy.

Talisay City Councilor Richard Francis Aznar said a team led by the city veterinarian may conduct inspections any time.

”Dili gyud kalikayan nga naay makalusot nga hot meat pero amung gipaningkamutan nga masugpo ni,” Aznar said. (We are trying our best to prevent the entry of hot meat but we can’t avoid some of it getting through.)

He was referring to meat that is butchered outside of government accredited slaughterhouses.
