An ordinance naming Quezon City’s new Hall of Justice after the late Justice Cecilia Muñoz-Palma, president of the Constitutional Commission which drafted the 1987 Constitution and the first female prosecutor to be appointed by President Quezon, was approved by the city council on Monday.
According to the councilors, the construction of the new justice hall which started last year was consistent with Quezon City’s policy to promote the speedy dispensation of justice through infrastructure support to the city’s judiciary.
The new building which costs P98.4 million sits near the old hall of justice within the city hall compound. Jeannette I. Andrade
