Minoza falls anew in ALA-Cobra tilt

FORMER REGIONAL title challenger Joseph Von Minoza suffered his third straight defeat after losing to Edgar Gabejan in their 10-round main event of the ALA-Cobra Tunay Na Lakas fight card in sitio Silihan, barangay Mahabang Parang in Angono, Rizal last Saturday.

Minoza, who hails from ALA Boxing Gym and once appeared in one of the Pinoy Pride Series’ fight card in Cebu, bowed down to a battle-scarred Gabejan for his sixth career loss. He has a total of 14 wins, six by knockouts.

Gabejan, meanwhile, improved his record to 25-6-29 (win-loss-draw) with seven wins by knockouts.

In the undercard, Libon, Albay’s Christian Abila scored a technical knockout (TKO) win over Benjie Suganob of Binangonan, Rizal while Mico Sacro of Tarlac City won over Joel Taduran of Valenzuela City via unanimous decision.
