/ 07:47 AM December 18, 2013

WITH its “Relief 101-Yolanda” and the “Let Me Know It’s Christmas” annual fund drive for children, Y101 FM radio station is inviting listeners to host a radiothon to gather donations in cash or in kind on the second leg of its radiothon on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Banilad Town Center.

The project aims to raise funds for Yolanda victims to make them feel the spirit of Christmas.

The guest host, together with the Y101 DJs, will be at the BTC drop off point, where listeners can drop their donations.

“Last Nov. 24, Y101’s first radiothon had an astounding response from the public. I would like to thank our listeners for responding to our call for help. We are hoping that together with our listeners we can make a difference in letting the Yolanda victims know it’s Christmas,” said incoming president Michael Solon.

The third and final phase of the project will provide livelihood and post-traumatic stress therapy to the calamity victims. For inquiries, call Y101 at 4126101 or 4126102.
