struggling teams see action today

THE RAIN or Shine Elasto Painters will try to solidify their hold of solo third place in the standings when they battle the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters today in the 2013 PBA Philippine Cup over at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The struggling San Mig Coffee Mixers will also try to right the ship as they face off against the equally-freefalling Barako Bull Energy in the curtain-raiser of today’s double-header which starts at 5:45 pm.  All four teams that are seeing action today are coming off heartbreaking losses.
The Texters (3-2) fell to Ginebra, 95-97, the Elasto Painters (4-2) got edged by the GlobalPort Batang Pier, 88-90, San Mig Coffee (1-5) got beaten by the Meralco Bolts, 64-72,  while Barako Bull (2-4) got bested by the Kings, 79-85./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
