Northern Luzon, Mindanao to experience rain Wednesday—Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines—Northern Luzon and Mindanao will experience rains on Wednesday, the state weather bureau said.
The northeast monsoon, or hanging amihan, is affecting northern Luzon, while a trough of low pressure area is affecting Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
“The regions of Caraga and eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms,” the weather bulletin said.
The regions of Cagayan, Cordillera and Ilocos and the province of Aurora, meanwhile, will be cloudy with light rains.
Pagasa also warned that strong to gale-force winds are expected to affect the northern seaboard of Northern Luzon due to the prevailing northeast monsoon.
