Santiago invites students to listen to her privilege speech

MANILA, Philippines — Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago has invited students from various universities and colleges to listen to her privilege speech in the Senate on Wednesday.

Santiago will deliver a speech when the Senate resumes its session Wednesday afternoon to reply to Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce-Enriles’ attack against her last week.

Among those invited to attend the session were students from the University of the Philippines in Quezon City and Manila, Far Eastern University, Lyceum of the Philippines, De La Salle University, Centro Escolar University, San Beda Law Student Council, University of Sto. Tomas, Adamson University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines and the Fatima University.
