Cold front brings rain Wednesday—Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines—The tail-end of a cold front will bring light to moderate rains and thunderstorms in southern Luzon, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.
Bicol Region and the province of Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with light rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
Article continues after this advertisementStrong to gale force winds are expected to affect the seaboards of northern Luzon and the eastern seaboard of Central and southern Luzon.
Fishing boats and other small seacraft were also advised by Pagasa not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.
