A 75-YEAR-OLD Australian national was found wounded in his condominium in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City yesterday morning.
John William Townsend was found with stab wounds in the left leg, right arm and back.
Townsend was brought to the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital where he is already in stable condition, said SPO4 Rey Cuyos, homicide investigator of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).
Cuyos said they considered the victim’s 19-year-old girlfriend Bonesa Dabalos as a suspect in the attack.
Cuyos said Dabalos was the last person to visit Townsend in his place in Wood Crest Residence on Modesta Street before the foreigner was found injured.
CCTV footage indicate that Dabalos arrived in the victim’s place around 7 p.m. Tuesday and left 5 a.m. yesterday.
