DIGOS CITY, Davao del Sur—Heavy rain flooded a number of villages in the municipality of Sta. Maria in Davao Occidental Friday, sweeping away at least two houses, a military official said.
Captain Aldrin Moral of the 39th Infantry Battalion said the floods affected the barangays of Buka, Pongpong, San Isidro, Basiawan and Kidadan in Sta. Maria.
No casualties were immediately reported.
