2 bodies litter QC streets; slain teener found in trash bag

Two corpses were found dumped on the street hours apart in Quezon City.

The first was that of a teenaged boy believed to be a victim of summary execution, found on Quezon Avenue late Monday night.

The victim was identified as Julius Tiburcio, 15, a resident of Agham Road in Barangay Pagasa, whose body was discovered near the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.

Insp. Elmer Monsalve, homicide section chief of the Quezon City Police District, said Tiburcio was found stuffed in a black garbage bag around 10:30 pm Monday. He bore puncture wounds in the chest as well as strangulation marks, the officer said.

A barangay security officer, Gerry Diaz, recalled seeing a black van stop at the area, from which the black bag was dropped off.

Hours later, around 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, the body of a still unidentified man was found on Sampaguita Street, Barangay Holy Spirit.

The second victim was described to be 30 to 35 years old, 5’7” tall, of medium build and wearing a pink T-shirt and gray shorts.

Two residents were walking in the area when they saw the body partly covered with a empty sack.

The hands were bound with nylon and earphone cords, while the left leg had a gunshot wound. Julie M. Aurelio
