THE NLEX Road Warriors began their road to redemption with a resounding blowout as they routed the Arellano-Air21, 93-60, in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup yesterday at the JCSGO gym in Cubao.
Meanwhile, the Big Chill Superchargers kept their unbeaten streak going as they scrapped past the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems, 81-78. The victory was their fourth in a row while Cebuana fell to 1-3 (win-loss).
While Janus Lozada and Jeckster Apinan took care of the scoring load with the latter scoring on a three-point play with 34.1 seconds left that spelled the difference in the tightly-contested game, Cebuano point guard Brian Heruela orchestrated the offense to perfection with 11 assists.
