Fisherman drowned

A 27-year-old fisherman drowned after going spearfishing Thursday evening.

Rescuers found the body of Richie Temblor floating at sea Friday morning.

The search for Temblor was conducted after Aurie Hortelano, Temblor’s aunt, sought help when her nephew didn’t return home at 3 a.m. on Friday./Correspondent Christine estrella

Woman dies after fight with BF

A 54-year-old woman from Danao City died after she fought with her 30-year-old boyfriend inside a beach resort in Catarman, Lilo-an town last Friday.

The resort owner, Benjie Ricamura, said he earlier saw the woman and her boyfriend engaged in a heated argument.

A few minutes later, the man was seen leaving the resort. Ricamura checked the room and found the woman unconscious. Ricamura prevented the man from fleeing and rushed the woman to a hospital where doctors declared her dead.

An autopsy report showed that the woman had a heart attack./Correspondent Christine Estrella
