MANILA, Philippines—Justice Secretary Leila De Lima will leave for Leyte Thursday afternoon to also provide assistance to survivors of monster typhoon “Yolanda.”

De Lima said part of her reason in going to Leyte is to check on the officials and employees of the Department of Justice in Leyte.

“I will also do my share in accessing and delivering aid to the hungry and helpless. I will also check on our own people-officials/employees of DoJ and attached agencies who are also in dire need of help,” De Lima told reporters.

However, she said she’s not sure if she will still go to Tacloban.

De Lima said she will go to other areas in Leyte which was also ravaged by the typhoon such as Baybay, Tanauan, Palo and Dulag.
