Medical, dental mission for Consolacion residents slated

AROUND 1,500 residents of Consolacion town, northern Cebu are targeted to benefit from a free medical and dental mission on Nov. 13 and 14.

The medical and dental mission, organized by SM Foundation Inc., will be held at the mezzanine parking lot of SM Consolacion.

The beneficiaries from different barangays in Consolacion, some of whom belong to a group of senior citizens, will avail of various services, such as medical checkup and treatment, dental checkup and treatment, blood pressure checkup, blood typing, blood sugar testing and monitoring, height and weight checkup, and x-ray through the mobile van.

The SM Foundation Inc. will also provide free medicines to the beneficiaries during the medical and dental mission with the theme, “Gamot Para sa Kapwa.”

This year’s activity is headed by SM Foundation Inc. executive director Connie Angeles.

Volunteer partners include Philippine Red Cross, Philippine Academy of Family Physicians Inc.-Cebu Chapter, and the newly-opened Mendero Medical Center in Consolacion.
