Cetba Nat’l Tenpin Open set Nov. 20 to 24
CEBU’S biggest bowling tournament, the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) National Tenpin Open will unfold on Nov. 20-24 at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Visiting teams like the Imus Tenpin Bowling Association (ITBA) headed by Masters defending champion Simeon Papa are again expected to give local squads a run for their money in the five-day tournament.
More than 50 teams will be vying in the cash-rich tournament.
The Masters event champion will receive P50,000 while the second and third placers will get P25,000 and P10,000, respectively.
The champion team will get P15,000 while the runners-up will pocket P9,000 and P6,000. The perfect scorer on the other hand, will take home P50,000.
Cebu’s team Chanieka is hoping to defend its crown while last year’s second and third placers – Virgo Financing and Prime Movers are eyeing to steal the title. Other teams seeing action are the Bowling Association of Las Piñas (BALP), Bacolod’s Sugarbowl Tenpin Association, Iloilo Tenpin Bowling Association (ITBA) and Davao Tenpin Bowling Association.
