LOUISVILLE, Kentucky—A hospital that was once the last stop for thousands of tuberculosis patients is now a destination for ghost hunters who insist the massive building is haunted.

The Waverly Hills Sanatorium was home to thousands of sickly patients from the time it opened in the 1920s to its closing in 1961.

The building is full of creaky doors, decaying rooms and an underground tunnel that was used to haul away the dead.
