Pregnant woman dies in road accident

A 41-YEAR-OLD pregnant woman was killed after she was hit by a speeding motorcycle in barangay Canamucan, Compostela town in northern Cebu.

Jocelyn Tadura Burja, who was five months pregnant, was walking on the road when she was hit by a motorcycle driven by Jeffy Bitoon Pareja of barangay Basak, Compostela at around 6 a.m. yesterday.

SPO1 Jaime Marolina said the victim was heading home after working at a noodle factory.

Pareja surrendered to the police after the incident.
