Police hopes video of shooting incident in Manila will identify suspect

MANILA, Philippines–Police authorities are reviewing footage from a security camera which caught a shooting incident in Manila Thursday evening, police said Friday.

The footage showed that victim Ricky Boa, 29, was walking along P. Herrera towards Carmen Planas street in Tondo, Manila around 10:40 p.m. Thursday when an unidentified suspect walked towards him and shot him several times.

Police Officer 3 Jupiter Tajonera of Manila Police District’s Homicide Division said the video would be a big help in identifying the suspect.

Tajonera said they were looking at a grudge as the possible motive behind the attack.
