MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Social Welfare and Development has readied about P90 million worth of standby funds for relief assistance for the affected persons of the destructive earthquake that hit Central Visayas.
DSWD Secretary Corazon “Dinky” Soliman said in a briefing Tuesday at Camp Aguinaldo that the government has set aside P89.731 million of standby resources for the affected persons in the regions of Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas and Davao region.
A separate P10 million was also processed for relief assistance in Central Visayas, the hardest hit area of the earthquake.
