HOSTILITIES in lawn tennis in the 5th Milo Little Olympics National Finals will kick off simultaneously at the Baseline Tennis Courts and at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club at on Oct. 26.
Team Visayas netters will be playing a total of eight matches in the elementary boys and girls and secondary boys and girls divisions.
First to test their mettle are netters from Luzon in the opening match at Baseline in the morning before facing Team Mindanao in the afternoon action in the same venue.
At the Alta Vista, Team Visayas will also open its campaign in secondary boys division versus NCR while the secondary girls squad will battle NCR after the boys division matches.
Bannering the Team Visayas in the secondary division lawn tennis are the lady netters of BRIGHT Academy Jana Pages, Zethley Mae Alferez, Kassandra Gandiongco, Dan Bi Kim, and Shyne Villareal.
The secondary boys team, will be manned by the netters of the University of San Carlos – Basic Education (USC-BED) in Christopher Encarnacion, Gener Francis Lambayan, Lord Mikell Lauron and Jan Godrey Seno. /Correspondent jade Violeta
