Typhoon Santi makes landfall in Aurora

MANILA, Philippines—Typhoon Santi makes a landfall in Dingalan, Aurora province at exactly 11 pm Friday, the state weather bureau said in a radio interview near midnight.

There’s no power in the entire province, the report said, making it difficult to communicate with the heavily-affected areas.

Typhoon Santi maintains its strength of 150 kph, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in the interview.
