MANILA, Philippines — The passenger bus that snarled traffic along EDSA-Harrison when a bag thought to contain explosives was thrown at it has been taken off the area, a live footage showed Wednesday night.
The action was taken after Police Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Llorca, Pasay police chief, said they were 90 percent sure that the bag that landed on the roof of a Bataan Bus didn’t contain an explosive device.
The footage also showed that several lanes of the affected road have been reopened to motorists at around 9:20 p.m., roughly four hours since the incident started at around 5 p.m.
