TO develop passion for letter writing among the youth, the Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) will hold a nationwide Letter Writing Day today.

In Cebu, the celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. at SM Consolacion. Participating students will write their “Salamat Po” letters and get a short orientation on the proper way of addressing their letters and affixing the stamps.

Meanwhile, the PHLPost, in partnership with the Department of Education, has come up with two projects this year: the 2013 National Letter Writing Project with the theme “Salamat Po” and the 43rd Universal Postal Union International Letter Writing competition with the theme “Write a letter describing how music can touch lives.”
