CBM tankers favored to rule Speedo long course tourney
THE 2013 Speedo G-League Long Course Swimming Visayas Leg 1 defending champions, the Cebu Blue Marlins will be the team to beat when Cebu City hosts the swimfest’s Leg Two slated this Saturday at the Cebu City Sports Center’s (CCSC) Aquatic Center.
CBM head coach Rolando Alvarez will again field his best tankers namely, Timothy Yen, Michael Ichiro Kong, Karen Mae Indaya, Danielle Mae Ballesteros and Trina Caneda along with Shane Allyne Preja and Emma Alexandite Duroy.
Beth May Arellano, Jehaosh Reign Garrido, Justine Reign Garrido, Val Andre Chiu, Aaron Grant Embuscado, Tara Kyle Ebon, Rafael John Dacaldacal and Micah Marie de la Serna complete the powehouse lineup for CBM that will go up against 11 swimming clubs coming the different parts of the Visayas region.
Other swimming clubs out to challenge CBM’s supremacy are Bago City Swimming Club (SC), Biniyaran Tadpoles SC, Bohol Dolphins SC, Capiz Eagle Rays SC, Dipolog Blue Marlins SC, D’ Aces Sea Hawks SC, Iloilo Warriors SC, Nautilus SC, Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club SC, Negros Oriental Blue Dolphins SC and the Silliman University (SU) Stallions SC.
