THE Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) has sought the help of the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) in arresting drivers who were issued bench warrants for various traffic violations.

Citom operations head Joy Tumulak told Cebu Daily News that after talking with drivers and operators of public utility jeepney (PUJ), they learned that some violators have gone back to their hometowns.

Tumulak met yesterday with CCPO director, Senior Supt. Noel Gillamac, and discussed Citom’s request to mobilize police stations in the province to help in locating and arresting the violators.

“We got positive response from our meeting with Col. Gillamac. He said they will be doing something next week but I’m not yet allowed to say what it will be,” Tumulak told CDN.
