MP Customs, Eser crush AMBL foes
THE MP Customs routed the undermanned Mawin’s Kitchenette of Sherwin Lequit, 136-119 for its 4th win in six games, while ESER led by team owner Eser Saramosing crushed GLYN Construction (2-3) of Bebot Bucton, 120-92 in the 40-and-above division of the AMBL Basketball Cup at the Vicente Sotto Memorial gym.
MP Customs led 39-23 in the first quarter then posted its biggest lead of 26 points, 73-47, at the half and never looked back.
Montoy Singson and Julius Gastador led MP Customs with a game-high 37 and 35 points respectively, while three other teammates scored in double figures including Rommel Hapin (18), Petoy Mata (17) and Pua (12).
Iam Aparri paced Mawin’s Kichenette with 36 markers while Ronnel Tiu and Rudy Manzo addeed 20 points each.
Meanwhile, ESER led from start to finish in dismantling GLYN Construction with Edward Buhay and Eser Saramosing scoring a game-high 34 and 30 points, respectively. Gilbert Demape and Jun Ramos paced GLYN Construction (1-5) with 23 and 18 markers.
