‘Paolo’ exits Philippines—Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines – Tropical depression “Paolo” made its exit from the Philippine area of responsibility sooner than expected on Friday afternoon.
The cyclone, which was originally forecast to exit from the PAR Sunday morning, had accelerated and was last observed 425 kilometers northwest of Iba, Zambales before heading out of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its bulletin.
It will, however, still continue to enhance the southwest monsoon.
Another low pressure area monitored by Pagasa near Mindanao was last seen 925 kilometers east of northern Mindanao.
