Benhur Luy met Gigi Reyes only once over diet plan

MANILA, Philippines – Benhur Luy, the principal whistle-blower in the P10 billion “pork barrel” fund scam said he had only talked once lawyer Jessica Lucila “Gigi” Reyes and it was about the Cohen diet.
Reyes is the former chief of staff of Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce-Enrile. She and Enrile were among those charged at the Office of the Ombudsman in connection with the pork scam.
“Si Gigi Reyes, hindi ko po sya nakausap. Ah sorry, sir, once lang po kami nag usap, tungkol po yan sa Cohen diet,” Luy said, responding to queries of Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano during the Senate blue ribbon committee hearing on Thursday.
“Effective ba?” Cayetano asked in jest.
“Hindi ko po alam,” Luy said.
